Judith Butler: Boycott Politics and Global Responsibility Video 1 of 2

Judith Butler is a world-renowned American post-structuralist philosopher and gender theorist. She's currently a professor of Rhetoric and Comparative literature at UC Berkeley, and her published work has involved diverse fields ranging from feminism, queer theory, political philosophy, and ethics. Dr. Butler will be discussing the global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement in solidarity with the Palestinian community against Israeli occupation, apartheid, and colonialism, as well as the role of anti-Zionist Jews in the struggle for peace, justice, & equality in Palestine/Israel.
