Democracy vs. Citizens United

The University of Chicago Law School is proud to present the 2011 Dewey Lecture in Law and Philosophy.

This year's speaker is Joshua Cohen, the Marta Sutton Weeks Professor of Ethics in Society and Professor of Political Science, Philosophy, and Law at Stanford University. The lecture, entitled "Democracy v. Citizens United?," was originally scheduled to take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, but it was postponed because of the blizzard. Professor Cohen instead came to campus on April 20, 2011. It was held in the Weymouth Kirkland Courtroom at the University of Chicago Law School.
