This film is concerned with a short passage by Baruch de Spinoza from his book: The Ethics. In this passage he defines his axioms.



This film belongs to the series Language-Cinema from 2008. It is part of an research project on the relationship between pictorial media and theoretical language. Each films tries to establish a form of analogy between the content or formal aspects of the original philosophical text and the animations. It was published as part of the book and DVD "Sprachkino" (Language-Cinema).
