Composing the Common World through Arts and Politics

Ecological crisis puts an enormous tension on the framework of modernist institutions, especially science, politics and the arts. Is another type of collaboration possible to explore other ways than modernisation to compose the common world? Bruno Latour is a French sociologist and anthropologist and an influential theorist in the field of Science and Technology Studies. He is Professor, vice-president for research and director of the Master of Experiments on Arts and Politics at Sciences Po Paris. He curated two major international exhibitions, Iconoclash Beyond the Image Wars in Science, Religion and Art and Making Things Public The Atmospheres of Democracy.
